Trisha & Nick's Wedding

Reece got to attend his first wedding in January. My good friend Trisha got married (finally!, her words, not mine). He did great with his first church experience, enjoyed all the attention from Gma and Gpa Krodel, but wasn't too sure about the loud music. He also had his first night away from mommy & daddy. He of course did great, but mommy wished she had taken advantage of the opportunity for extra sleep. Congratulations Trisha & Nick! We had a great time, and the bride was gorgeous!!

Catching Up... Christmas

As usual Christmas was a busy time around the Kluemper household. We traveled the state to see all of our family. Reece had a great first Christmas! He really could have cared less about the gifts that were opened for him, but mommy and daddy appreciated them, and he loved all the extra attention he was getting.

3 month pictures/Christmas card shoot

So I debated about whether to get Reece's 3 month pictures done professionally... We have a really nice Canon camera, and I just didn't think our schedule was conducive. I think I got some pretty good shots!

The WINNER!!

I love my hands!
(no worries the garland is not actuallyin his mouth)

Not sure what mom is up to!

Hence, the crazy eyes and stiff body.

3 Months!!

So apparently my return to work has greatly affected my ability to keep the blog up-to-date. I'd like to promise I'll be better, but I don't believe in making promises I can't keep.

Reece is 3 months, growing like a weed. My unofficial measurements are around 12lbs and 22.5in long. We don't go back to the pediatrician until 4 months so you'll have to wait until then for "official" measurements. He is a very smiley and happy baby, only fusses when hungry or tired. He is becoming more vocal and recently found his hands. They are constantly in his mouth, and mommy is beginning to think that he is going to be a thumb sucker soon. He also is settling into a routine. He eats 6 times a day and is only waking up once at night (6-8 hour stretch after his bedtime feeding). Hope you enjoy the new pictures!

A visit with my last great grandparent...

Over the years, I've lost touch with my Bickley family, but thanks to Facebook, I've reconnected with my cousins. In April 2009, Jeff, Matt, and I traveled to Kelley's Island for my grandmother's funeral. It was our first visit in over 15 years. While there, my aunt told me that my grandpa couldn't wait for great-grandchildren so when Reece was born, I thought it would be nice to introduce them. This past weekend, we met him in Cincinnati where my cousin Mo lives. I'm so glad we did it.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We traveled to East Chicago for Thanksgiving with the Morales family. As always, the food was delicious! Here are a few pictures from our day:
