Week 5 & 6

Reece has been super busy these last couple weeks, growing and changing so fast...

Loving my activity center...
It's so cute, he coos and moves his arms and legs at a rapid pace.

I love playing with my tongue.

Showing off my new Bengals jersey.
(Don't worry, he was only allowed to wear this because the Colts' had a BYE week)

Hanging out in my bouncy.
Reece has finally decided he likes this. He used to cry every time we tried to sit him in it.

Tummy time and mommy capturing how I roll.

Now I know he only rolls because his head leans to one side and his whole body follows, but it cracks me up because he'll do it 3 or 4 times in row..

My first captured smile even though its a little fuzzy.
Mommy will keep working to capture one that is in focus.

Jasper

Well, we survived our trip to Jasper. In fact, it was a great weekend! The trip down was a little rough because Matt didn't get off work early which meant we left town at 5 on the westside of Indy. It took about 4 hours to get there which is usually a 2 1/2 hour trip. On Saturday, Reece got to meet his Great Grandma Kluemper and Great Grandma and Grandpa Frick. We also got to meet Drake Lichlyter at mommy's favorite restaurant Los Bravos on Sunday. Reece also enjoyed lots of snuggle time with Grandma and Grandpa Kluemper. They hadn't seen him since he was born because they were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on a cruise in Hawaii. I didn't do a good job taking pictures, but here are a few to enjoy:
It looks like they're staring at each other.
Great Gma Kluemper thought she might be coming down with
something so she wore a mask to be safe.

1 Month!!

I can't believe it has been a month already. He is changing every day, becoming more alert and more interactive. We are getting to know each other, and settling into a flexible routine. We went to the Dr's office yesterday, and he is doing well. His stats are 8lbs 1oz, 20.5 in, and 14.6in OFC. He is definitely becoming more proportional, but his size is more reflective of his future I'm sure (11-15th percentile).

Here's what I've been up to this last week...

Trying out my infant carriers

I love fall walks in this one.
I get all snuggled with mom and fall right to sleep.

I've been hanging out in this beautiful weather.

Getting pretty good at tummy time. Look at that head lift!!

I met my Great Grandma Jo
She helped watch me while mom went to her first Colts' game of the year.

We are all headed to Jasper this weekend to see all my family (& some of my dad's friends) down there. Wish us luck in our travels...it could get interesting!
